Редактирование темы WordPress

При изменении темы WordPress можно не трогать оригинал, а работать с его резервной копией (дочерней темой).

1. Чтобы было проще определить используемую дочернюю тему, создайте новую папку в каталоге «wp-content/themes», составив её название из имени темы (например, если исходная тема называется «twentyfifteen», создайте папку «twentyfifteen-child»).
2. Скопируйте файл «style.css» исходной темы в папку дочерней темы и измените поля «Theme Name» и «Themplate», как показано ниже.

3. Создайте файл «functions.php» в папке дочерней темы, используя приведённый ниже код.

4. Скопируйте файл «screenshot.png» исходной темы в папку дочерней темы.
5. Скопируйте файл исходной темы, который хотите изменить, в папку дочерней темы, затем внесите изменения и используйте его.
