Úprava témy WordPressu

Pri úprave témy WordPressu môžete ponechať pôvodnú tému nedotknutú a upravovať záložné súbory (tzv. podtému).

1. Ak chcete používanú podtému ľahko rozpoznať, vytvorte v priečinku „wp-content/themes“ nový priečinok s názvom odvodeným od názvu témy. (Napríklad ak sa pôvodná téma volá „twentyfifteen“, vytvorte priečinok „twentyfifteen-child“.)
2. Skopírujte súbor „style.css“ pôvodnej témy do priečinka podtémy a upravte položky „Theme Name“ a „Themplate“ takto:

3. V priečinku podtémy vytvorte súbor „functions.php“ s nasledujúcim kódom:

4. Skopírujte súbor „screenshot.png“ pôvodnej témy do priečinka podtémy.
5. Súbory pôvodnej témy, ktoré chcete upraviť, skopírujte do priečinka podtémy, upravte ich a potom ich používajte.
