KCleaner 2.3 Update

Updated with several stability improvements and a few user-requested features.

• Works well on Windows 8.
• Added an IE plugin.

The main feature additions in 2.2 and 2.3 help you browse faster and more safely by making it easy to disable plugins such as IE toolbars, which are commonly used by malware.

(After checking Clean IE, be sure to check only the plugins you want to use, then click « Initialize »!!)

Here’s a brief explanation of why these features were added. (Same as in 2.2, so it’s included here unchanged)

• When KCleaner uses its initialization feature to shut down malware (??), some specific plugin programs (such as toolbars) restart the terminated programs when the browser launches
• Most of these plugins aren’t made by skilled programmers, so they often slow down web browsing or cause crashes that close the window
• Many programs reset toolbar-related registry entries in real time, even after users delete them with toolbar-cleanup utilities
