Modifica del tema WordPress

È un metodo per modificare e usare i file di backup (rappresentati da un tema child), senza toccare il tema originale.

1. Per riconoscere facilmente il tema child in uso, crea una nuova cartella in “wp-content/themes” combinando il nome del tema. (Es.: se il tema originale è “twentyfifteen”, crea la cartella “twentyfifteen-child”)
2. Copia “style.css” del tema originale nella cartella del tema child e modifica “Theme Name” e “Themplate” come indicato di seguito.

3. Crea il file “functions.php” nella cartella del tema child usando il codice seguente.

4. Copia “screenshot.png” del tema originale nella cartella del tema child.
5. Copia nella cartella del tema child i file del tema originale che vuoi modificare, quindi modificali e usali.
