- After a software update, we perform internal quality testing and release it publicly. If no issues are found after about a week, an update window is shown to users.
- To minimize inconvenience to users, the update window is shown once, and notifications are disabled for a set period afterward.
(Important updates may be an exception.) - There is no automatic update feature. This decision was made for the following reasons:
– When this feature was provided, antivirus software frequently flagged it as a false positive.
– From a security perspective, this helps prevent risks from potential hacking attacks in advance.
– Using an EV (Extended Validation) certificate can reduce false positives from antivirus software, but individual developers cannot obtain one, and the issuance cost is quite high ㅠㅠ
– A long time ago, when the software had an automatic update feature, some users commented that it might secretly install adware or other programs. - Download and run the program from the link below to disable notifications for one month.
