I changed the site from applying SSL across the board to applying it only where needed for account registration and security.
As shown in the chart above, many users are still using XP with Internet Explorer 8 or earlier, and pages with SSL enabled aren’t working properly.
In the future, I plan to apply SSL based on the browser and operating system.
